So what to do in Labuan bajo beside the island hopping?
Well it's so funny if you visit a destination surrounded by the sea if you don't enjoy the beaches there. On the island hopping tour, the tour guide will allows you to enjoy the beach for several hours, you can enjoy the soft sands, swimming in the clear blue sea water, even you could also snorkeling there and see lot of fishes without efforts to dive deeply.
Pink Beach, Labuan Bajo, Indonesia
The most popular beach in Labuan Bajo is Pink Beach at Long Island (Pulau Panjang). You could see and feel the beautiful pink sand that create from red coral crumbs that meets soft white sands. SOOOOOOO beautiful.
Please, don't judge me that am biased because I'm indonesian but it
is true that Labuan Bajo has one of the best diving spot in the world.
OMG.......
I could even said anything because the corals, various colorful
fishes, blue clear water, is sooooooooooo mesmerizing. It's beautiful,
very beautiful.
What you want to see? Turtles? Shark with barious tip color? Big
fishes? Dolphins? Even the famous mr. Manta you could find in here.
I was did the scuba diving and joined with the Blue Marlin Dive Komodo
dive center. Their crew and diving instructors are nice, friendly, funny
and professional. Thing that I don't like is only the lunch meals. Other than
that I looove them sooo much. Will go back to them if I have another
chance to do scuba diving in Komodo (oh they also have another branch in
Lombok and Bali if am not mistaken). It cost around $200-$250 per one day diving (3 dive spots).
Is it possible to see Manta without diving? OFCOURSE it is, even
there are Manta Points, if you're lucky, you could see more than 10
giant mantas even from your boat. But sadly, if the boat there is too
crowded you can't snorkle there cause it's too risky.
- Chilling at the beach club

It's not me if I didn't try the local beach clubs, but because of
my hotel already offer a nice big pool with beautiful scenery so I only
went to one beach club which is "Le Pirate" (will give separate review for this). Nice view, provide jacuzzi
with warm water, has 3 floors, good food and beers. Damn I want to have
life like this in the future lol
.
Don't judge me cause I don't recommend you lots of restaurant with local food but....
You might be interested in eating at the Italian restaurant owned by the famous Moto GP rider Valentino Rossi's family named "La Cucina".
La Cucina, Italian Restaurant in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia
I have to admit that it was the best pizza I've ever taste in my
life (because I haven't visit Italy yet haha). Even they also serve it
in Italian way not like in Indonesian way (Indo way: cut pizza into
slices), and I was wondering maybe the waiters forgot to divide it but
lol someone said that THATS THE ORIGINAL WAY ON HOW TO EAT PIZZA

.
Fresh seafood every night!
But no worries, I will give recommendation for you to visit night fish
market near to the Manggarai, Labuan Bajo, sea port. You could eat and choose various kind of
fishes, lobsters, crabs and other seafoods. But beware of the high price
lol. Tips: ask them the price first before you order and try to bargain
if you want.
So that's it! If you want to ask more about the trip details or see
another pics or video you could check my Instagram @annisakh27 and send
a DM to me.
See you on the next post!
